A certificate program in technical writing allows students to hone their writing skills to produce documents that meet the requirements of a variety of business environments. Students will learn to write and revise professional documents fluently, accurately, and efficiently. Students who are self-employed or applying for grants or start-up funding will benefit from the certificate’s training in writing grants, proposals and other advocacy materials.
The Technical Writing Certificate is a 12-credit certificate program that includes three required courses (3 credits each) and an additional elective course (3 credits each).
